Xolani Sibanda is a Co-Founder of and executive director of Masaka Media
Xolani was born on the 1st of March in Bulawayo Zimbabwe; he has lived part of life in Zimbabwe and the other part in South Africa. He lived in Bulawayo where he did his lower and mid primary later moved to South Africa to do his upper Primary. He lived in Kanana Park South of Johannesburg where he did his upper and lower secondary at Tiisetso Bekezela Primary School and Sakhisizwe secondary respectively. He did not finish his secondary he dropped out on his 9th grade and moved to Pretoria in search of greener Pastures. He since got to Pretoria has worked for a number of years as a freelance photographer until he initiated a photography studio which was called Masaka Photography Studio which ran for a year and later joined by his Brother they merged forces and decided to open a Media company called Masaka Media.
